#2280 rain
The September rains are coming, right on schedule.
This is not normally a good thing, but this year, it's different. HG's cats are leaving today. Well, so is HG, but we're not sure whether that is temporary or not, but the cats won't be back. Now, if it was sunny and warm like it has been all week, cleaning inside would create conflicts.
With rain, no such issue. I'll pull everything out of second bedroom, vacuum, then shampoo the carpet. Open up the window and let it air out a couple days. A couple reed diffusers, and hopefully it's back to how it should be, then do the same for the rest of the apartment. I liked having the cats here, but I also like clean and nice-smelling. Over the last couple months, the balance has swung back to clean, and I'll be less stressed once I get it done. My lease doesn't permit pets, and that's probably a good thing. If HG hadn't brought the cats without warning, I'd have never been tempted to test that. Now, I'll be content with the fish tank and visiting Ma's cats when I need a pet fix.
And, it's going to rain. Perfect weather to clean.
